The Hero

Great little Room all the facilities, including fridge with milk , great selection of teas . Lovely shower and very comfy bed . Very friendly staff and great breakfast . We were even given a lovely goodie bag for staying with the Hero - nice touch .

Nothing, room was a little hot but the heating was in the floor and we didn’t realise how to control it for a little while , then it was fine .

Exceptional service from staff, so friendly and welcoming across the board. Lovely comfortable room with comfy bed and waterfall shower. Fridge in the bedroom was an added bonus, complete with fresh milk for tea and bottled water. Evening meal was delicious, again friendly staff and very well cooked food, included good vegetarian choices. Breakfast in the morning was the cherry on the top. Lots of variety and vegetarian options along with healthier choices too. The granola Greek yoghurt and berry compote was delicious. Special shout out to the the lady that served us breakfast, she was so funny and welcoming, nothing was too much. Finally, we left with an amazing gift bag which was full of Norfolk food treats. Was not expecting this and it was a delight. Thanks again to all the staff, we will be back. Extra tip: the coast liner bus picks up right outside the hotel, an amazing perk.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming and made us feel like we were really important to them. The food was absolutely delicious and getting a discount on the evening menu was unexpected but very gratefully recieved. Loved the goodie bag at the end of our stay.

Pillows too soft but just personal preference and we didnt ask for alternatives

Room was smaller than expected and so hot, but this was probably due to me being unable to work thermstat!

Great little pub with a vibrant atmosphere. The perfect spot for a rewarding beer and meal after a stunning walk across the dunes and beach. Totally dog friendly, you’re almost the odd one out if you don’t have a dog!
