ATda weiß ich garnicht, wo ich anfangen soll: ~ das riesige äußerst gepflegte areal mit herumlaufenden häschen, mächtigen bäumen etc. ~ das historische haus mit der großen empfangstreppe ~ die qualität des bettes ~ das opulente frühstück ~ die herzliche gastfreundschaft von olwen + douglas ~ das optimale preis-/leistungsverhältnis; und da haben wir in den 14 tagen bei anderen b&b leider auch das gegenteil erlebt
als mitteleuropäer bin ich es eben gewohnt, dass beide partner im bett eine eigene bettdecke haben; aber das ist keinesfall eine kritik sondern nur eine subjektive anmerkung
IEThis is a special property with hosts, Olwen and Douglas, who instantly make you feel like you're a VIP. The decor is opulent and the grounds are stunning. You feel like you've stepped into a Victorian mansion where the modern world melts away as soon as your tyres hit the crunchy gravel. The rooms are spotless, spacious and airy, with high ceilings and glorious four poster beds. Breakfast was served in the stunning conservatory, with the buffet perched on what looks like a shrine. A shrine to fresh, seasonal fruit, fluffy scones, brown bread and accompaniments. We felt like we were dining on the orient express. Freshly poached eggs, bacon, sausages and grilled tomato to follow, plus steaming pots of coffee served with a smile. The servers were so friendly and attentive and we could have stayed all morning. We loved this place, such a balm for the soul and an example of what is really great about Irish B&B properties. We'll be back!

DEBeautiful place! The pictures don’t do it justice! The host was so funny and sweet! I love her style of decorating. One of the most amazing places we EVER stayed! Also the breakfast? Delicious and beautiful place settings.

DEDas Hotel war eine totale Überraschung und ein tolles Erlebnis, das wir je gehabt haben. Man hat Gefühl, in einem Schloss zu sein. Das Grundstück ist wie ein Park und sehr gut gepflegt. Unser Zimmer war riesengroß und ganz toll ausgestattet. Frühstück war reichhaltig. Das Hotelbesitzerpaar war sehr nett. Absolut das beste Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis
