Great breakfast

I loved every single thing! It's a little outside of Bailieborough if you are taking the bus, but very worth it. Ample car spaces, beautiful countryside, easy off the road entrance. Rosemary is tremendous!!!!! Her meals are delicious!!!! And she is incredibly hospitable - even lent me her more proper rain coat. The cozy and homey dining room always has snacks and a hot pot for water for your different coffees or teas. We were able to use the kitchen fridge for our leftovers (TRY the Bailie Hotel for dinner!). The room has sets of dishes, etc. I miss her scones soooo much! They were the best I ever had (ok I AM from the States). Her eggs were perfectly cooked every morning. She is also just a lovely person. We miss her dogs! They are completely outside and out of the way unless you beg them to come play with you which we did. The beds were fantastic. Very simple, but so comfy. The soft sounds of horses neighing and cows mooing were wonderful to wake up to. The shower is great with a fully closing door to keep the water in and fantastic water pressure. Plenty of thirsty towels and a great blowdryer. We had the triple room and there was ample space for us 3. We didn't even use the tv in the room. 11 out of 10 stars for a place I want to use again!

Quiet. Lovely host. Good breakfast.

Great location. The warmest of welcomes. Lovely rooms and home cooking too. It feels less like you’re staying at a strangers home and more like you’re staying with family. You know that whole “help yourself, take anything you need” vibe.

There’s nothing to dislike from my perspective.

Rosemary was very welcoming. The place was spotless. The breakfast was lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had good pressure.

Nothing. Everything was great.
