Friars Quarter House

Beautifully decorated rooms and a lovely garden. A light breakfast of oats, yoghurt and fruit was complimentary. About a one kilometre easy walk into Ballinrobe for fabulous dinner at Piccolo Sofia.

Ensuite was pretty tight but ok for one night. The bed was a Double not Queen size. Luckily we had a separate single in the room so we used both beds.

Stayed for 2 nights due to fishing trip. Accommodation was outstanding, very clean and warm. Would highly recommend. The owner Martin went over and beyond to ensure a great stay. Best accomodaion I ever stayed in. Definitely stay again if back in Ballinrobe

It is a very comfortable and well maintained facility close to the town

Unfortunately the breakfast portion was lacking . It was a poor substitute for what I've come to expect at Irish b and b s. Also I was not provided an en suite room

Das Badezimmer war in einem hygienisch schlechtem Zustand. Schimmel an der Dusche. Auch ein sehr schwacher Wasserdruck in der Dusche.

Quiet, clean, and lovely cosy furnished sitting room. Shared a bedroom with my adult daughter. Great chats on the stairs or in the hall with family members. We wondered into Balinrobe for an outstanding meal in O’Flaherty’s ( as recommended by hosts) and popped our heads into TO’Malley’s after expecting men in pints at the bar but more women then men on a night out with cocktails but still plenty of pint men at the bar. A great location to get to Cong Ashford Castle or keeping going for Westport.

Beautiful home and owners were friendly and helpful. Even though it didn't include breakfast they did supply, fresh fruit, yogurt and oatmeal for everyone. Beds were comfy.
