Good stay and enjoyed

The bathroom and toilet were clean and very good. The front balcony was good too. The room owner is very cordial and helpful.

The bedsheets, towels were old, although clean. There were no other facilities like water kettle, although the owner was kind enough to provide glasses of hot water. Especially Thekkedy is a small town, so the room was probably okay to the city standard. We didn't feel so satisfied after staying three nights at Munar.

Location was nice.

There was no hot water in the evening. The owner told that it will be available at morning but still there was no hot water even in the morning. Except that overall the stay was good.

The hosts Satish & Savita were very nice. They arranged all tickets booking for elephant junction, kathakali and kalafi fight. Also had the options for offroad and viewpoints. Stay was decent, location was near to market.

Could be slightly clean. But again it was in middle heavy monsoon so can't complain.

I stayed in Periyar to visit the park and the surroundings and Periyar Woods really felt like home. I was able to rest after several days traveling, they served me delicious local food and arranged transportation whenever I needed. Sattish and his family are very friendly and will do everything to make your stay confortable.
