We stayed here as a family for two days and had a truly wonderful experience. The home was beautifully designed with stunning Indian-style interiors, art, and décor — warm, cozy, and very spacious. Each bedroom had a private balcony, and the morning sunlight with views of paragliders, farms, and countryside was absolutely magical. Preethi and her family were the most warm and welcoming hosts. They made us feel like we were staying at a relative’s home rather than a homestay. From the amazing chai to thoughtful conversations, travel tips, and genuine care — everything felt so personal and heartfelt. Preethi was especially sweet with my mom, chatting with us about our home in Kerala and making us feel completely at ease. They even gifted us fresh oranges plucked from a friend’s garden — such a generous and thoughtful gesture. The beds were super comfortable, and with heaters and blankets, we stayed cozy even in December. We felt completely safe, well cared for, and truly at home. This stay was one of the highlights of our entire vacation. Highly recommended — we would love to return! ❤️

The property was clean, in a great walkable location, felt super peaceful with beautiful quotes and inspiring books around the house. There was a garden and amazing views of the mountains and paragliders. The family is wonderful and the cooking was delicious. The house was clean and you immediately feel relaxed and at home as soon as you walk in. This was our favorite stay in India by far! This hotel made my partner and I want to move to Bir.

A beautiful property with wonderful hosts! We really enjoyed our stay here, the room was so nice, comfortable and with lovely views and a peaceful terrace next to the garden. Preeti and Ranjeet were welcoming and helpful, and Preeti’s food was some of the best we’ve had during our trip, so delicious! Would definitely recommend having the dinner at home.

It was a beautiful family home that was calm and peaceful after the busyness of Bir. The garden and outlook from our room was beautiful. The room was very clean and was beautifully furnished. The family were friendly and welcoming and they all had excellent English. The breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed being in a family home.

We had a lovely time at La Maison. It's a beautiful property and is nicely decorated and maintained by Preeti. She is a warm host and served us some nice home-cooked food. The rooms are nice and cozy, and the property has a lot of outdoor space to relax and enjoy the views. It is a 15-minute walk from the landing site.

This is one of the best homestay experiences I've ever had. My top floor room had a beautiful view of the terraces and mountains, including the sunset. The best part of the stay were the warm and hospitable hosts that made me feel like I was part of their family and served the most delicious and fresh breakfasts every morning. The living room was a lovely spot to meet others if you so wished. I enjoyed the location in the more village part of Bir, away from the noisy shopping street but only a 20 minute walk away. I will definitely be back for this amazing Himachali hospitality and energy.
