Staff all polite, helpful and friendly. Breakfast and dinner lovely. Bedroom clean and nice touch to have iwn entrance so you don't need to walk though the bar.

Room was well presented and clean. Pillows were a disappointment. Even with 3 pillows they were flat with no support. A suggestion visitors on a Sunday would appreciate a slower pace to the day. Breakfast timings could be extended a little and even 30mins extra for check out. I understand rooms need to be prepared for next guests and unlike bigger hotels you will be limited on staff. Just a couple of thoughts. A light switch near private entrance door would be helpful. In the dark in a strange room it was a challenge finding the light.

Superb stay! Lovely food and beer and a great welcome after a long days hiking Really recommend it! The team working there are wonderful!

Great location, excellent food. Good accommodation, really comfortable, well maintained and very clean - really appreciated that.

No heating in the dining room on the 2nd night. We think that was a one off, but the staff didn’t seem to be able to do anything about it.
