Malithis lodge

Great little spot. Room is spacious. The hosts are great, super welcoming and makes you feel at home. They even have their own tuk tuk :)

Very nice staff, positioned in a quite location, good breakfast, superb lunch/dinner

Beds were not comfortable, room was small, very hard to find on a tough road, low hot water pressure

Place is nice. Appreciate host can be more cooperative.

Location is horrible. U need to keep on going up to reach place. Getting tuktuk is very difficult. They don't go do up..will leave u down and road so narrow and dangerous to go up. Incase u coming night then most difficult. No street lights and so difficult to reach with luggage. Please book if u okay with the location.

The place was one of our favorite stays here in Sri Lanka :) The room was very clean, they provide warm water and also have a hairdryer if needed. The breakfast was so good and changed every morning which isn’t always the case here. The family is very friendly and accommodating.

- it’s a little bit far from the main city. But if you rent a bike (also possible here)

The view was amazing, next to house grew avocado tree. Hot water was a life changer. The host made us breakfast at 4 am at the day of our checkout.

The way up was diabolical- not expected but we managed :)) We had to hike at 10pm in the complete darkness like 20mins since the point where our tuktuk dropped us. The center was quite far but if you learnt the shortcuts (stairs) it was like 20mins walk. Due to some rainstorm there was a break in electricity delivery and the water was out but I guess its normal. The host was a little weird but really helpful and kind.

The family running the place are just the nicest! The squirrels run around the place Please have breakfast and dinner there! It is awesome!

Great place for looking peace and quiet. Malithis lodge Has great pointy view for sunset! Very good breakfast. Very kind hosts showing their garden with fruits and herbs :)
