It is in beautiful location with views of the mountains. The owners are really friendly.

It can get very cold in the evening so would advise to bring a jumper. The room feels quite damp, the shower pressure is extremely low meaning it just drips out and the WIFI does not work at all.

The family was very kind. We arrived in Ella around 1Am in the night for an accident but they welcome us like nothing happened

Unfortunately the place is far away to the city centre, and is not easy to reach there. Also the tuk tuk ask to us a high price because the road is not safe The room was not well clean, and it was extremely humid.

Location of the hostel is fantastic

Food is too expensive

First of all the family were amazing, they made really good breakfast gave me a deck of cards and made sure I was comfortable. Hot water was running always , beds are comfortable it can accommodate 3 people in the room. The view in the morning!! It was splendid. Tea is always offered.

The only minor problem which didn’t affect my likeness of the place was the location , it’s up a steep hill so a little bit hard to climb with bags just a heads up

The location is very far from the main city. But some might like it as it is away from the city noise and nice place to relax.

Great place to stay in Ella. The family is really lovely and welcoming, always helping with whatever is needed, even giving me a packed lunch when I said I was going to see some waterfalls. The included breakfast is great but the dinner was really amazing and highly recommended. The room is clean and comfortable, with hot water and a comfortable bed. The location offers a great view of Ella rock and the surroundings. However, it is quite a hike up from the main road (around half an hour, shorter on the way down) but you can easily take a tuktuk nearby for 400-500 rs and save yourself the pains. It was a really great experience, and for the price it is one of the best options in Ella in my opinion :)

Steep uphill climb to reach - but easily managed with a tuktuk

It's a cosy płace with everything you may need. We even got our breakfast packets ready for 5 o'clock in the morning. The owner and his sons are very nice. We were welcomed with some tea. I wish we had time to stay longer.

The only disadvantage is the location if you travel in a small rented car.. The road is really steepy and bumpy.

The hosts are verry sympatics, the breakfast is verry good and big for the price. Beautiful view
