"An excellent stay, I will be coming back!"

The Overlook Hotel was a real find. I have stayed in Glastonbury so many times but this is really the best venue and accomodation I have found. A really friendly host, a great breakfast and a clean, cosy room.

"Perfect location , excellent host , Comfortable bed , fantastic breakfast"

An amazing greeting by Steve , very friendly and accommodating . He gave us all the information we needed to know , he also called me to tell us our room was ready.

It felt a bit strange having to eat our breakfast in our room , however the standard of breakfast was exceptional so more than made up for it .

The location in the town centre was excellent. It was spotless.. Steven was very helpful with the welcome and explaining things, and provided a super breakfast and packed lunch.

"A real gem"

Hosts were excellent and friendly. Location was excellent. Breakfast was the best one we've had and we stay away a lot so that is real praise. Will definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

"Comfortable, central, fantastic!"

Lovely room, right in the middle of town! Wonderfully comfortable bed, great rainfall shower, kettle & drinks (the room has its own fridge, with bottled water and milk for your use!). The breakfasts are spectacular! Whatever your preference, all delivered to your room on a tray, at a pre-arranged time! Perfect! Friendly host, very kindly looked after my bags on check-out day, until it was time for my bus. I will definitely be back!

The only (slight) problem is that the walls are thin, so if you have noisy people in the room next door, it can be a little challenging! There is a label on the wall, however, requesting quiet in the rooms after 11pm, which was (thankfully) observed. Towels are a little on the small side, and water pressure isn't high, but neither was a major put-off. Just merited a 9 rather than 10 score.
