The Overlook Bed and Breakfast

Excellent room and breakfast, fantastic owner 5 stars

Lovely room, right in the middle of town! Wonderfully comfortable bed, great rainfall shower, kettle & drinks (the room has its own fridge, with bottled water and milk for your use!). The breakfasts are spectacular! Whatever your preference, all delivered to your room on a tray, at a pre-arranged time! Perfect! Friendly host, very kindly looked after my bags on check-out day, until it was time for my bus. I will definitely be back!

The only (slight) problem is that the walls are thin, so if you have noisy people in the room next door, it can be a little challenging! There is a label on the wall, however, requesting quiet in the rooms after 11pm, which was (thankfully) observed. Towels are a little on the small side, and water pressure isn't high, but neither was a major put-off. Just merited a 9 rather than 10 score.

It was my second time staying at The Overlook and I loved staying there again. The room was very comfortable with everything I needed, super clean, the breakfast is excellent and it’s brought to the bedroom every morning. But the best thing is Steve’s amazing hospitality. He really looked after me and went out of his way to make me feel comfortable. I highly recommend The Overlook, it’s the nicest place I stayed in in Glastonbury so far. Thank you Steve for another great stay with you. I will be back again!

Everything was perfect!

Comfortable clean room with room service breakfast delivered in the morning. Really good breakfast, and I got gluten free toast when I requested it. Steve the proprietor was friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Everything was fine

I had a very happy stay at the Overlook. This is my second visit, and I particularly like this venue for its friendly host, great central location, and superb breakfast. Despite being on the High Street, it was very quiet, and I had an excellent night's sleep.

There were quite a few stairs up to the room, but this wasn't a problem.

Good position, comfortable and clean room, excellent breakfast

The host was lovely and very welcoming. Wonderful central location above a great art supplies shop. Clean and modern. Breakfast served in our room, which was very good, and presented really well.

Only downside was the very thick ( and warm ) duvet and the size of the plates serving breakfast. I lost some of my avacodo and poached egg on sourdough bread over the side. Gutting because it was great.
