Home Farm B&B - Poppy Room

The perfect place to get away from it all. The room was spotless with everything that you could need for a really relaxing stay. The spa was amazingly clean, we really enjoyed swimming in the pool and using the sauna and the jacuzzi. Breakfast was fantastic, again so relaxed and such high quality. We felt really welcome and well looked after, it was a pleasure to meet Paula and Robert. We're already planning our return trip!

Beautiful location and lovely room. Bathroom was excellent with a fabulous shower and BIG bath. Bed was big and very comfy. Although lots would disagree, it was nice to have a smoking area in the garden that was very pretty. Breakfast room was great with a log burner and breakfast was also good. My husband had the vegetarian continental breakfast and he said it was the best he had ever had, lots of different cheeses served with sour dough bread. After being in the Scottish 'wilderness' for a couple of weeks, to arrive here with a large smart TV and glorious bed was just what we needed as a stop over travelling home. The only niggle we had was the room got a bit cold through the night, however there was a blanket chest with snuggly blankets. We would definitely stay again if we were to visit Scotland. We didnt book the pool as not sure what time we would arrive, but we wish we had done. Lovely owners who were very attentive and couldnt do enough for us to make our stay perfect.

Lovely room and location, fantastic breakfast - very happy with our stay!

Room was lovely and big, and bathroom was amazing lovely large walkin shower and also a large bath. Breakfast was excellent, in a lovely warm room with a wood burner fire. Hosts were exceptional. They were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble, very lovely couple. We have already decided to go back there next year. Pool, sauna and jacuzzi were spotless and loved every minute of our stay and time there.

My only thing I didn't like was the steps down into the pool, needs new steps which go further down to nearer bottom of the pool, ist step up out of pool is very high up. Pool, jacuzzi, and sauna etc were lovely and very clean.

Great wee night away at the B&B. Lovely hosts, lovely location, pool & room were absolutely spotless. 10/10. The hosts also accommodated us to a small continental breakfast due to us needing to be out at 7.30am. We didn’t expect any breakfast but this was a really nice gesture. Will book again if we need to visit Montrose in the future.
