Jungle Face Inn

Great treehouse accommodation, a lovely owner who was very helpful. He arranged tuk tuks, gave us a lift to little Adam’s peak and arranged our transport for on onward journey. It was only a short tuk tuk ride from town.

Wat een gave plek! Een mooie boomhut, zo verzorgd en prachtig, en lieve gastheer, spreekt goed engels. 5 min met tuktuk naar stadje Ella. Lopen zou berg op zijn, zou ik voor dat geld (600 lkr=1,5 euro) en die 20-30min, niet overwegen. Echt een aanrader om hier te slapen tijdens een verblijf in Ella.

Wat n zalig plekje om te verblijven. Weg van de drukte van Ella en naast het stromende water. Je voelt je echt te midden van de jungle. Gespot aapjes, de kleine en de reuze eekhoorn en vuurvliegjes.

Our family of four had the pleasure of staying two nights at Jungle Face Inn, and it was truly a memorable experience. The location is peaceful and surrounded by nature, making it a great escape from the city. It was exactly what we needed for a relaxing and refreshing family break. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for all of us. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Everything was well-maintained, and the natural setting gave it such a special charm. Breakfast each morning was a real treat. There were plenty of delicious options, both local and continental, and everything was freshly prepared. It was clear that a lot of care and attention went into each meal, and it set us up perfectly for the day ahead. A very special thank you to the owner of Jungle Face Inn, who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Their hospitality, kindness, and helpfulness made a big difference – from sharing local tips to making sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a family-friendly place with a warm atmosphere, great food, and genuine hospitality, Jungle Face Inn is the perfect choice. We would absolutely stay here again!

Nothing... It was perfect!!

Fabulous unique tree house accommodation with an amazing host family. The breakfasts each morning were the best breakfasts we had in sri lanka. Ela was an easy tuk tuk ride away. Highly recommended.

The stairs to get to the rooms are well worth the effort but this is probably not the best place for anyone with mobility issues.

Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms tucked up in the trees a little way out of Ella (5 mins in tuk tuk). Excellent breakfasts and hosts would highly recommend for something a bit different from the norm.
