The One Ella

The staff was incredible and helpful, very acommodating. Dom even brought some leech repellent when I asked him if there were many on the trail. Breakfast on the balcony with an amazing view was a great start to our day. Room was spacious and bed very comfortable. Location was great as well, very close to the start of Nine arch bridge and Little adams peak hike.

Maybe the only thing is the feeling that there is "easy" access from the street to the room, but this is a very safe country for tourists so I quickly got over the slight uneasiness. The access itself can be challenging with big bags (steep steps) but there is always someone to help (again, staff is amazing).

The room was beautifully done with a veranda to the front looking over amazing views of the valley. The owner and staff were very attentive helping us to arrange laundry and plan activities. Breakfast was amazing served on the veranda. Would definitely recommend

Modern design, clean, and the location was perfect. The view is beautiful and breakfast was great. Also, the host was always responsive.

Dom was a very accommodating and attentive with a personal touch. The location was excellent for both the trail to Little Adam’s Peak and also Nine Arch Bridge. We enjoyed the Ella Rock view from the terrace and watching people start their hike. It is away from the centre of Ella so more peaceful in that respect. Still only a 15 minute walk to the centre. We enjoyed the hammock and having breakfast served on the terrace. The room was very well appointed.

Perfect location with excellent views Quiet setting, and easily accessible on foot to Ella town for restaurants and to Little Adam's Peak Dom the host /owner was exceptional, very friendly & helpful . He went out of his way to support us when our travel plans changed, providing food & arranging a taxi. Breakfast was the best in our 14 day tour of Sri Lanka We would thoroughly recommend this accommodation & would love to return ourselves one day.

Beautiful location right next to path to Little Adam’s peak

Lots of stairs but the property owner and his helpers carried everything for us.

We were warmly welcomed: the place itself is amazing, every design detail contributes to the overall look. The bathroom is gorgeous with a spacious shower area. The terrace has an outstanding view over the valley and there is a hammock where you can admire it! Breakfast is served to the terrace, at the time you want it. Loved this stay!

We love everything, the room, the location, the staff, the view, the great breakfast on the balcony. It's a perfect stay, quite close to the centre and far away from it to not have the night life sounds. 7 arch bridge on less than a 20 minute walk away.

Northing, this place is perfect and we highly recommend you to book a night or some more.

We had a wonderful experience at The One Ella. The rooms were kept in great condition, exceptionally clean and comfortable with a wonderful mountain view. The crew were really considerate and helpful. The breakfast was also delicious. We had a wonderful experience here and would definitely recommend it.

Everything was simply lovely.

We stayed at One Ella for 5 days and had an incredible time. The location is spectacular overlooking Ella Rock, and on the walking path to Little Adams Peak. It’s busy during the day but very quiet and serene when nighttime comes. There are lots of restaurants close by, or you can walk or Tuktuk into town. The 2 Cabins are very beautiful and well appointed with everything you could need, and are super comfortable with great beds, a lovely veranda with a small couch, table and chairs. Dom who is the owner is the real reason our stay was so amazing. He is very attentive and helpful to your every need, meets you a couple of times a day to discuss the breakfast menu and what you want to do, and will help you to arrange whatever you need. And those breakfasts! During our 5 days, every morning there was a different menu with wonderful food choices and great variety. There were four of us in the two rooms and we really didn’t want to leave. Dom will make sure that you have a great experience and won’t ever forget Ella and his lovely Guesthouse. I recommend his guesthouse. You won’t be disappointed!
