Green Hill

מקום מקסים, 10 דקות הליכה מהמרכז, מנוהל טוב על ידי חברה נחמדים. היינו בחדר משפחתי, היה נקי למרות שביקרו אותנו כמה חרקים- אבל ככה זה בג'ונגל 😉 לא חדש או באיכות גבוהה, אבל הנוף מטורף ןיש ביליארד, נדנדות ותחושת הוסטל נעימה ולא מלון קריר. דתיים, אז לא אכלנו את כל ארוחת הבוקר המטורפת (גם וופל בלגי!), אבל הפירות טריים וכל מה שביקשנו ניתן בכיף

The location was very good view wise but at the same time it was impossible to find a tuktuk or taxi from there, you have to walk till the main road for that

The lack of convenience and the rooms were a little dark and were okay from the inside

The view from the property was really good.

The rooms were bare minimum infra & beds weren't too clean. Bathroom door wasnt closing.

The view was amazing, the children loved the dogs. The rooms we changed to were much better that the initial room we had booked.

This was by far the worst value place we stayed in during our trip to Sri Lanka. Had one option of family room (room 40) when booked, we did not realise that this was a room in the unrefurbished part of the hotel as photos looked good. it was a tiny room for four, there was not enough space to put suitcases without constantly tripping over them, the room stunk of a musty smell and was dark. The mosquito netting around the beds was ripped, the lampshade broken, big bit of tile missing from the the bathroom by the sink, which was sharp and at the exact height for the children to catch themselves on it. Some shower tiles were cracked, stained brown towels on floor. Furniture on the shared balcony - some was broken - why not remove this? We talked to manager about the state of the room and how it was not fit for the price we had paid for it (or for anyone to be honest) - he was able to move us to two double rooms that had been refurbished at additional cost, which made the stay in this hotel very expensive for us but we felt we could not stay another 2 nights in the initial room as it was unsafe. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel on the first night - we were the only family eating - Given a three page menu on arrival with a range of options, when we went to order we were told there was only Sri Lankan Curry or a few pizzas - this was fine, but why give out the whole menu - they curry was tasty, the pizza came out 20 minutes after the curry and the fries 10 minutes later - service was very slow for drinks - sometimes taking 20-25 minutes. Breakfast was very repetitive and very sugary - fruit followed by waffles and white chocolate - no choice. Ate again at hotel - given new 5 page menu but hardly anything available, Sri Lankan curry was worse than first night, again very slow service, pizza 30 minutes after curry. This hotel has potential to be beautiful but it feels like the focus is on expensive looking wooden furniture in the bar area rather than the basics.

The view and staff were great
