"Lovely BnB in a beautiful countryside setting"

I can highly recommend staying at Whicham Hall, the view from the garden room is lovely. There is a large garden that is accessible for guests and beautiful views of the countryside. The room is very large & very well presented. Megan, the host is very friendly and makes you feel at home from the start. There is a wide range of breakfast choices & you get to chose what you would like. The BnB is in a good location & it is easy to drive south to Millom or north to St Bees/Whitehaven etc.

Everything was exceptional, the room, the views! All spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and the host very welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommended a stay here!

"A hidden gem with the best views! 💎"

The breakfast was phenomenal. The drink and snack facilities were brilliant including biscuits, juice, plenty of milk for the three days. Such a sweet gesture of providing a bottle of prosecco as it was my fiances birthday along with beautiful glassware. The bath is incredible and the decor is stunning. The outdoor area is gorgeous and has incredible views. The leaflets are very helpful to see the local area! The bed was very comfortable and a great size! Our host Megan was very helpful, cheerful and accommodating!

Honestly nothing. If I really had to ask for something it would be to have a long length mirror to see a full outfit and to repaint/refurb the outdoor furniture so isn't as rusted but this is just constructive criticism.

"Lovely"

Beautiful place to stay. I was riding nearby and so was looking for a place with a small kitchen area and the garden room was great. I liked that I could choose my breakfast food and time and then it was served in my room. Megan is a wonderfully attentive host and I felt well cared for.
