Food was amazing - staff were super helpful - especially Fred - it was lovely.

The bells - not much you can do about the church bells but they kept us up most of the night.

Not been bothered about reviewing hotels and restaurants for some considerable time now as the interest has worn off after the last few years, but have always been 'curious' about this TV winner, so finally got around to booking an overnight stay with dinner, bed and breakfast. To keep things simple, The Curious Fox is absolutely delightful. Management and staff are genuinely helpful and welcoming, the building, rooms and restaurant are spotless and characterful and the food is amazing! All finished off with an absolutely fantastic choice of breakfast dishes. Will definitely be returning as 'The Curious Fox' has now re-ignited my interest in providing honest feedback, particularly to owners and management who genuinely care and deserve to be proud of what they have achieved and hopefully maintain.

Location brilliant with great access to Skipton’s shops and attractions. Food was beautiful with local produce clearly showcased and prepared with such care. Service was friendly and attentive with everyone working together to ensure we enjoyed the experience.

Stayed overnight at The Curious Fox. An excellent experience. Brilliant location, right next to the Castle and Church, at the top of the main shopping street, and close to the canal. Very interesting and quirky building, full of character. We received a very warm welcome and loved the atmosphere of the place and the attude os the staff. We had arranged to eat at a nearby restaurant but saw enough of the Curious Fox food to be impressed, would certainly try eating here. The whole place was spotlessly clean. The rooms were full of character - note that they vary considerably in size. I can certainly vouch for my bed being extreemly comfortable and the supply of tea, coffee, toiletries etc was generous. Perhaps the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. Recommend definitely.

Hopefully a temporary problem but, in my room (top floor left), it was impossible to turn the basin tap on without water going everywhere. I kind of exploded. Otherwise no problems experienced.

Breakfast was unavailable where we were staying, so went to the curious fox, highly recommend, excellent value for money, good service and pleasant helpful staff
