The inn was shabby, nothing was kept up and there were stains and dirt throughout our room. We were greeted by the proprietor when we came in, but he was more interested in how we booked then helping us check-in. Also, there were big bags of laundry in the lobby which were there the next day when we left. Overall, the place is run down, and not worth it at the price point we paid.

First time and thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed it. My partner had pasta, with an amazing sauce, I had belly pork, best ive had. Fabulous and very attentive service, thank you to Lee and the team!

Location was good

Room was not the best for the price paid, it was small and the bathroom likewise. The price paid seems excessive when it does not include breakfast, which we decided not to have in the hotel. The meals and drinks appear to be expensive for what you get. We only had one drink in the small bar set in the entrance to the restaurant. Staff not particularly friendly, no information provided by staff on arrival about check out, wifi etc. Car park was poor, we were told to park on the street corner which was access to the carpark as there was not a space available, risk of our car being hit. Overall I would not recommend staying here, we will not return.

Inedible roast dinner. So disappointed. The beef was really chewy, I physically couldn’t eat it. It was a shame as we were really looking forward to a roast dinner after a lovely walk around d Skipton. We advised the lovely, polite waitress and nothing was done about it. Full price on the bill, with 10% service charge added. Will not return.

Room excelllent, bed confortable, food was superb. Just beware music from the bar transmits loudly to some rooms. Not cheap but a high quality venue, restaurant closer to fine dining than a pub.

Music takes away some tranquility

It’s a very cozy place, perfect for a celebration. We couldn’t have been better looked after, nothing was too much trouble. Perfect.

There was nothing to dislike.
