Vigo Retreat cabin 1

Great location, nice size for two people and very convenient. Lovely and clean.

Hand soap not provided.

This was a perfect base for me as I was out all day, every day, so coming back to my own space was perfect. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything I needed (except a bottle opener, which Andy was happy to supply). I enjoyed the simplicity and cosiness and it was peaceful. I enjoyed eating my evening meal at my bistro table outside. I really loved it here and would stay again.

Pointing these things out doesn't mean I didn't like them - it's just to make people aware. My booking mentioned breakfast in the cabin but for a four night stay, I was only provided with 2 croissants, tea bags, coffee and milk sachets. However, I was happy to buy myself breakfast and fresh milk as there was a fridge. I wonder if there's an error on the details on Booking.com when it comes to breakfast expectation. Other reviews have mentioned no hot water to the bathroom sink which was the case, however there was plentiful hot water to the shower and the kitchen sink too so not a major issue.

Basic cabin, functional, slept well, located perfectly for cycling the north downs. I knew what I was booking and Vigo delivered.

Nothing stands out.

It states Breakfast, but was a croissant in a bag , dreadful & only one morning, stayed 2 nights. Should not state breakfast included!

It had a rustic charm, good shower.

The website said breakfast was included. Two long life croissants did not cut it.

Location was lovely main road was a bit noisy

Mattress was a bit hard Wooden Steps to cabin felt a bit weak
