Vigo Retreat cabin 1

Everything! You I have stayed here multiple times and will definitely return. It doesn’t get cold within the cabin, hot water and shower available when wanted with no issues. Smart TV and a table and chairs directly outside. I love it! Thank you Andy.

Nothing. Everything was great.

Breakfast was very poor - just a croissant.

The hot water did not heat up enough for a shower.

clean , everything we needed , nice comfy bed warm .microwave tv shower all ok

water not very warm , had to boil water, main issue fron door did not feel Secure just a couple of bolts and had screws missing no real lock to make it safe while inside.

My actual cabin was a converted farm trailer, I think, I thought oh dear, But once inside wow, it was very clean, and looked new, wooden walls etc, Tv, microwave, fridge, etc, Shower, bath, very comfy bed, better than the one I have at home, excellent all round, lovely veiws, quite, Much better than I expected,

What could be better is the signage, I arrivied at night, I found i difficult to find the place, due to the signs being black, and only on one side,

It was clean and cosy.

Bit of a breakfast bar so could have had a stool to eat there maybe. Also, a solar light on the outside as it was dark when I came back and had to try and hold my phone for a torch and try and get the key in the lock. Tap in the bathroom and kitchen were a little wobbly

We loved the whole set up,we stayed here before last year a couple of times,it's a great location with nice walks through country park next to it,Andy the owner has got a nice picnic area next to cabin and cabin itself was comfortable and very clean and looking forward to coming back next year

Nothing to dislike

I loved the quirky nature of the cabin. Go into the cabin with positivity and a sense of adventure. Best nights sleep. Could hear road noise until about 10pm but I hear that when at a hotel so not an issue. Think people who moaned before are expecting too much! I don’t understand the bad reviews as what do you expect for circa £60? Premiers Inn that night locally were over £100 and there are no facilities to cook so extra expense is incurred. Plus Premier Inn aren’t perfect. Cleaning standards were good.

The shower curtain didn’t go all the way around the bath which made me very nervous I would flood the bathroom when I was washing my hair. The window in the bathroom needs a blind. I could see out when showering and therefore if someone was by the bus, even just walking past, they could see in.
