Vigo Retreat cabin 1

It was very basic but perfect for our trip. We literally wanted somewhere peaceful and comfortable to sleep after a long drive before a birthday party the next day.

It might be an idea not to claim Breakfast is included. If you will eat a pre packaged croissant then it is. Other than that there was nothing I didn’t like.

Lovely location.

The bed was extremely comfortable. There are some points for improvement. 1. Walking from the car to the cabin as slippery, as were the steps up to the cabin; the weather isn't always dry and sunny. 2. The door to the cabin has a gap, which should be mended 3. There were no chairs. I don't expect armchairs, but two folding chairs perhaps? Maybe also more than one hanger. 4. There is no light switch by the bed. finding the bed and the bathroom in the pitch dark is difficult. The coffee was fine. Fresh milk is a good idea. The prefab pain au chocolat or croissant looked so unappealing that we left it. The cabin was scrupulously cleaned. The bed is very comfortable. All in all, if Andy could sort these mostly minor points out, cabin 1 would go a class up. It was quaint and unexpected, which is its atraction.

Quirky, cute cabin. Comfortable bed and good shower. Tea and coffee facilities available and microwave and fridge in room. Parking available outside cabin. Croissant for breakfast left for us. Only 18 mins from eagle heights which we were visiting. Recommend the çhinese take away nearby, but have to collect.

See through the window in bathroom. Hung my t-shirt over the rail to block view.

Great location. Lovely cabin (1), spacious and comfortable.

Could have done with a deep dust clean but lovely all the same.

Not much

The staff was totally not useful they wouldn’t change our booking -would not answer the phone was disgusting with communication. They would not advise us of any contact numbers to get in contact with anyone! They were not able to pick up the calls when we were lost it was not easy to find no signs. Needed to change dates they could not help or assist not one bit and was forced to go down there on a date that we did not want to go.

The cabin had a comfortable bed and a decent shower, as well as the microwave which we used.

Not a problem for us as we brought breakfast, but the long-life wrapped croissant isn't really 'breakfast'.
