Nice room. Reminding me of university accommodation I e stayed in at conferences. A table and chair rather than an enormous wardrobe especially when there is an assumption that you would eat take away in your room. Plate and cutlery provided

Pretty much everything else. All I need on these trips is a decent night's sleep and breakfast. The George offered neither It advertised on site parking. I couldn't park out side the pub for either night of my stay It says there is a restaurant. No restaurant. Fabulous breakfast. No breakfast and no where open in Desborough. I had to drive 14 miles to a MacDonalds. First night there was karaoke which went on till 1 30am. Second night live music until midnight. Not great for sleeping. Staff seemed indifferent. I wasn't even shown where the door to the accommodation was let alone being shown. To my room. Before arriving I messaged the George to say I would be arriving later than expected but could I get something to eat. Answer was No problem which led me to believe that there was a restaurant. I stay in pubs all over the country and this was my worse experience in 5 years

Staff were friendly, room was fine and had a fan

It was too noisy for me, the bed was very uncomfortable. This isn’t criticism, just not to my liking

Really nice place . Good accommodation better than some chains . Will use again Just to tired after driving to enjoy ales

The linen was clean.

The room was a low standard

The hotel was in a good location for a last minute stay away from home. The bed was comfy and the room was decent enough.

The car park was full when I turned up, but I was able to park in a nearby car park, so it wasn't a deal breaker at all.
