The room was clean and functional, the common areas were very nice and comfortable, and Arnold the owner, he gave us all the info about the activities in Lamu, with a map and super useful tips.

We liked everything, location was great and the staying was 10/10

Amazing budget spot for traveling in Lamu! Arnold was extremely helpful - we booked a sunset cruise through him and it was perfect. Breakfast was excellent. The rooftop was amazing. We had fans in the room. The best coffee shops on the island are pretty close by. Overall, wonderful stay!

Even though there were fans in the room, it did get a bit toasty at night!

One of the nicest accommodations in Kenya i have been so far. Arnold is a great host who has a lot of tips for Lamu. The place is very clean and ideally located in Lamu Town.

It is a little bit noisy with the mosque nearby although that goes for most stonetown places atleast.

Jambo house is easy to get to from the main road and seaside but also tucked away from the noisy centre. Anyone can give directions to help you get there but the owner can also arrange for you to get picked up for comodity. The house is really pretty, with an incredible veranda that gives on the sea and the hills. Really beautiful and relaxing. You can see that all details are well cared for. The owner knows everything and is really really helpful giving directions, very polite and accomodating, I was happy and grateful for his useful suggestions about getting around, food, activities and all necessities. Breakfast was really delicious too, best fresh juice and french toast made from scratch by Fred. Very recommended, you won't be disappointed!
