"Mental detox in green lush nature - further improvements welcome."

7.0

Very well located right on the lake. Lawn well kept, friendly staff. Boat rental possible.

The last 60 minutes to reach the guest house are needed for a road / path in very bad condition. High ground clearance of the car needed (which we had). Can not be reached in all weather. Neighbors play music much too loud, which takes away some of the beauty of the idyllic place under coconut palms. Absentee owner should invest in client relations.

"For a cheap hostel it would have been ok but for this price one can expect a lot more."

5.0

Service was friendly.

It's very hard to each the place if you don't have a four-wheel drive. We endet up doing the 45 min. trip on the back of a motorbike which wasn't the safest thing ever. Our room was big but it smelled damp and moldy. Furnishing was very simple.

"Pleasant"

6.0

Calm, shady, and directly at the lake.

Small beds, very hot cabins with ventilators not sufficient for cooling, high prices for food and drinks, and since you are outside the village there are no other options for lunch or dinner.

"We had a nice stay"

7.0

The setting and the views were amazing, so was the swimming and the use of the sub. The staff was very friendly.

The acces road was really poor ( several km!) and the watersupply in the morning was not working.

"A beautiful peaceful getaway on a tropical lake - magical"

9.0

Beautiful location right on the lake, with stunning views out over the jungle and the lake. The bungalows are lovely, each with their own patio that looks out over the property. There were deck chairs and hammocks available for use. Restaurant on site was had great food. It’s very remote so feels like a complete getaway - a solace.

The food was very expensive There was a faint smell of sewage everywhere which worsened after the rain. It was manageable though.

"nice cozy hideout at Lake Bosomtwe"

9.0

We stayed 2 nights at the Cocoa Village guesthouse at Lake Bosomtwe. Very nice stay in a relaxed atmosphere, the whole team were always very friendly and helpful. And the dogs are great! Food and drinks in the restaurant were good with a stunning view on the lake and the fisherman in the morning. Recommend the nice and cozy guesthouse when visiting Lake Bosomtwe

"I’m glad we saw the lake but taking an extra journey to get there I don’t think it’s worth it."

5.0

the setting is nice

this place is difficult to get to! the road is ridiculous. staff is very off and very slow! we didn’t feel welcome! it could be nice as the setting is lovely but it is basic with no aircon.
