Friendly welcome, very nice comfortable room, great breakfast (best scrambled eggs ever) and lovely landlord and landlady who were happy to serve us drinks and were very chatty when we returned from the theatre just before last orders. We will stay there again if we are in the area. It’s a nice traditional pub with very nice accommodation.

Great location, terrific food (we had breakfast and dinner both nights) and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Compliments to the chef!

A minor thing and its just personal preference, but we found the mattress a little hard, it needed a topper.

Clean tidy

Generator/fan from kitchen was noisy in the room.in the evening and early in morning..could .cleaner was vacuuming around while breakfasts were being eaten .
