Friendly and welcoming staff. Delicious breakfasts (we tried the Full English and vegetarian). Nice views of fields from some of the rooms.

We thought room 5 (the double) felt nicer and bit more luxurious than room 6 (the triple) which was around the corner and not as welcoming. Although room 6 did have lovely views of fields.

the owners and staff were absolutely superb, went above and beyond, on time for a 7am breakfast early start and called me to remind me to return the room keys i had mistakenly taken with me on leaving!

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Gorgeous little local pub with a really nice restaurant. Rooms are super comfy with everything you need. Breakfast menu is great. Leah and Dave, the owners, are really friendly and looked after us so well.

The location was lovely. The room was cosy. The staff were brilliant. The open fires were cosy and welcoming like the staff and locals. The food was outstanding big portions and stunning wines with hearty wholesale breakfasts with beautiful lattes and fresh juice. Absolutely a diamond of a place.
