Charming and genuinely friendly staff who made us feel welcome. The pub has a nice local feel about it. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet. Countryside settling is pleasant

"This was easily the most pleasant and enjoyable evening/night's stay in a long time."

A proper pub with good ales and cosy dining area. All of the staff, from the landlady & landlord, to the evening bar staff and those involved in the morning activity, breakfast and so on could not have been more pleasant, helpful and interesting. Breakfast great. Plenty of parking. Good wifi and room excellent.

From junction 24 of the M1 no signage for West Leake until the final crossroads by which time you can't miss it.
