The Shandwick Inn

The breakfast takeaway bag was disapointing, the croissant soft and tasteless , fresh (real) coffee and fresh croissant or toast would have been better and it should be clear that breakfast is not served but delivered the night before.

Lovely inn with a good restaurant. A good stop for our NV500 trip

The room was cosy , nice big bathroom. The continental breakfast was great for us as we don't usually eat breakfast. Meals were exceptional and excellent value. Staff were very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. Peaceful sleep as noise levels were low.

Bed was a bit low to the floor( I have arthritis ) but comfortable and I'm not put off as I managed fine.

Staff were welcoming and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. Food was good.

Breakfast was basic, continental breakfast in room

Cold water was brown with rust, unable to make tea or coffee. No bottled water in room

A clean room with our own shower and toilet..Right off of the A9 and easy to access from the main road. The restaurant downstairs from our room has a great menu with the food and service excellent.We had a table for six on the Saturday evening, which we booked in advance, with attentive staff.

Some of the fittings and decor were a bit dated and could have done with a bit of.modernisation.

Wie hätten Glück und hatten ein kleines Häuschen für uns alleine Abendessen dort im Restaurant sehr lecker und preislich ok

Das Häuschen war etwas feucht - kühl, der Abfluss der Dusche verstopft, das Frühstück nur im Tütchen vor die Tür gestellt

Staff and food very good. Room was clean. Bed clean and very comfortable and shower really good.

Room really needs updating. There was an unpleasant smell on stairway up to room which was a bit off putting.
