The Pool and the View

Unfortunately we were deceived by the photos as they show 2 hotels. We actually went to the wrong hotel at first. We were assigned a room that led us to a steep staircase. We then changed rooms. When we checked out, we were only informed that this room costs 600 PHP more. The rooms were identically the same. However, there was a small balcony. The staff is very unqualified, we always had to ring the bell if we had any questions because they were always in the kitchen. The 3 small dogs were also constantly barking. Not pleasant when eating and they shouldn't be in the kitchen. We received the pre-ordered food and breakfast lukewarm, we pointed this out to them and it didn't work the second time either. The WiFi was also not available in the room or at the pool. It's a shame because we were initially very positive.

The venue is very large with a huge central area on each floor and the rooms scattered around it. The room had views out over the sea and swimming pool area also. I'm not sure if I liked or didn't like this point but there are 2 hotels, which are maybe a few hundred feet apart, and we went to the wrong one first, and initially the reception there had no idea about our booking. Only after showing our booking did they send us up the road to the other venue. This must be common, so it would be good if both hotels could just cross reference both bookings and send you in the correct direction! It is convenient close to the harbour, so convenient to stay at when arriving on the later afternoon/evening ferries.

Parking is limited, however I left my keys with the reception team so they could valet stuff around if they needed to early in the morning. The breakfast took quite a while, and wasn't particularly large.
