Millie on reception was superb, explained how things work, timings etc very welcoming, The room was cosy and very clean and comfortable bed.

The only downside was a small shower cubicle and limited self service breakfast.

Good location as in centre of town and quite area. Walking distance from train station .

On arrival we were told it was only a continental breakfast, I was under the impression it was full cooked as couldn't see anything different on booking.com. There was no hairdryer so one had to be found from elsewhere. Shower bracket held together with an elastic band and shower hose damaged. The breakfast was very poor, toaster not working properly and stuff open in the fridge was not marked when it had been opened. Coffee machine empty on some of the choices. We got back to room in afternoon to find there had been no room service to restock items. On check morning there were nothing much to eatso didn't bother so went elsewhere. On checking out nobody around to hand key back to .Only one to speak to was the chef who took the key. Wouldn't stay again.

Breakfast was not great as two of us are vegan and there was no soya milk as promised.

The shower was broken. I mended it with am elastic band!

Great location, spacious room.

Check in time late at 4pm. asked if we could book in a bit early, but it was a categorical no, even though I am pretty sure the room was ready. We knew breakfast was a simple affair, help yourself, but no butter for the toast, no cereals in the cupboard and no soya milk, even though we notified the hotel that we were vegan. For these reasons, would not return.

I didn’t bother with breakfast. Had coffee. The towels were good. Room had everything needed.The girl who took me up was friendly and helpful. It is a noisy, friendly pub!

The bathroom floor could have been cleaner! And bedside table.
