good location and central to town centre. Good food

No parking, had to use public car park a good 5 minutes away (£6 during day) had to be back at car park by 08,00 to renew ticket. Very wet weather which made this task more onerous. Fairly simple room. Plug wouldn't stay down in basin so had to keep running water. No tea bags in room and no servicing of room. No hot breakfast served and a help yourself counter for drinks, cereals and bread for toasting only. No staff seen in morning.

Friendly staff, great location

The room was lovely, clean and the the bed was comfortable. The guy behind the bar who checked us in was very helpful and informative.

The information in the room said food was being served until 9.00pm that evening. We returned at 8.00pm to order food to be told the chef had knocked off for the evening. It was raining very heavily that evening. We managed to get some chips and sheltered outside to eat them. Breakfast was also a let down! No bread, museli was very stale as the bag was wide open in the cupboard, the only fresh fruit available were 3 apples. We asked the chap in the kitchen if there was any bread, he said all he had was frozen white loaf. So we did have some toast. To be honest, based on our stay, I doubt very much that this property would win 4 In A Bed again!

Great location and good value for money. No parking but car park at the railway station was excellent and only 5 minutes away.

The shower head didn’t hold up and breakfast was fine if you only wanted a light breakfast, which suited us. Otherwise no problems.

It was very generous of them to offer breakfast, as I didn’t expect anything. The nights stay was not expensive and location so perfect. I started my day with a yogurt, piece of fruit, toast and a coffee ! Excellent and thank you

The room was large and the bed was comfortable there was a nice chair and desk. There was enough storage space for clothes. The bathroom was big and everything worked with a powerful shower. The pub itself was clean and had nice staff members. The coffee machine in the kitchen worked well.

When we arrived we went to our room only to find dirty towels in the bathroom and the shower was dirty and had a lot of hairs on the walls. There was no hair drier and the remote for the tv needed new batteries. All these things were quickly fixed. When we went to breakfast we found that there was very little to eat. There was cereal, bread some yogurts and some fruit. Unfortunately there was hardly any butter no glasses for the fruit juice and the fruit in the bowl was rotten at the bottom. There were no teabags. There was no one to help with this except the cleaner.
