Looked good in the photos but reality was something different

The accommodation was substandard the bedding was damp and did not fit the bed. Items offered for breakfast e.g the marmalade was a year out of date. The cereal dispenser was clogged solid with old cereal. The owner agreed with our complaints and offered a partial refund of 50 percent. We have not received any contact from them. All our attempts at contacting them have been ignored. Very dissatisfied and very disappointed.

The location was really handy for us cycling Traws Eryri over two days. A good mid distance position.

Lovely views, friendly hosts, spotless room. Breakfast was good.

Check in wasn’t until 5pm but host let us arrive at 4pm which was considerate of them.

Lovely farmhouse in a quiet location just outside Machynlleth. Very relaxed with friendly easy going hosts. Plenty of space to park our motorbikes.

Needs a signpost at the turn off as a rather small road.
