"A lovely stay in Castletownbere, with great hospitality."

Beautiful old building with lots of architectural features. Easy checkin. Lorna was a great host, very pleasant and great to talk to about the local area. Highly recommend a visit to McCarthys Pub & food at Murphy’s restaurant which is a lovely the family run business.

The location is excellent if you want to explore Castletownbere and wild Atlantic way.

I've stayed in the Old Medical hall three times in the past, the last time being just before COVID and all my previous experiences had been excellent but now six years later the place seems to have lost its charm. Standards seemed to have slipped which left me saddened. The mattress on the bed had seen better days leading to a rough night's sleep. There was a black mold on the grout in the shower for which there is no real excuse.

"Dreadful experience unfortunately will not be back"

Room cold no heat am # very strong smell of damp # no WiFi a television turned up loud pm next door to me little to no sleep no one on site leaving property next morning someone walking around inside of property loudly am woke me up @ 8am couldent get back to sleep

Location is great, in the town.

The room waa freezing cold, couldn't turn on heating. Cold draught coming in windows. Shower water was scalding hot and couldn't adjust the temperature.
