Pibo Homestay

I like the convenience of checking in without any trouble,as a foreigner the C form is mandatory and our previous host at our bed and breakfast forwarded my info.That being said on Port Blair everyone knows each other and supports the tourists as best . Our host at pibo is engaging,welcoming and using WhatsApp at all times to be available,he lives on the ground floor.He offers tips, activities near the area to do also car pickup and drop off Everything he offers, comes with the price and he will let you know how much. The staff is very attentive and brings drinking water or breakfast to your room.

It is right on a busy road,where you need a scooter or a car to go to places.Walking is not possible .

This was the second time that we have stayed here - it's a really nice comfortable homestay, we were made to feel very welcome. The room is nice and spacious, and the owner made us feel completely at home - as well as being very friendly he's great at recommending things to do. Last time we visited the Celular Jail - which was really interesting, this time we went to Ross Island - it's not very expensive and a really good and interesting trip. If you turn left as you come out of the homestay and go across the road (across from the shops) there is a lady who sells the most delicious snacks for 10 inr each - sweet and savoury. Well worth a visit. We also had another meal at Kishen & Sons (it's on google maps) and it was delicious - less than 500 inr for 2 people. Breakfast in the mornings was always delicious. Abi and John were always on hand and happy to help with anything.

We like the rooms of this homestay, they are spacious ones as compare to the price, it's not far from airport. Also the staff is quite decent same is owner and it has a mountain View from the balcony.

We really enjoyed our stay here, it is our first time visit to Port Blair, we arranged a taxi with our host Mr Aneesh for 250 Rs and were met at the airport with a smile. The accomodation is really good, nice spacious rooms, comfortable bed, aircon, tv, good size bathroom. All good. Mr Aneesh was very kind and helped us to book our ferries to other islands and helped us with information for our stay. The staff here - John and Abi were very attentive and always on hand to help. We discovered a really good restaurant about 10 minutes walk away - it's listed on Google maps as a hotel called Kishen & Sons, it served us 2 really good curries with rice and bread for just 400 Rs. There are many tuktuks waiting a short walk away, to transport you on the island. Breakfast at Pibo was really good - delicious tea and delicious homemade food. We really enjoyed this especially the ginger tea. We will be staying here after visiting Havelock and Neil island and would definately recommend this as a very friendly homestay.

We stayed as a group of four (in two rooms) at Pibo Homestay during our visit to Port Blair. The homestay is conveniently located close to the airport, and other attractions are also nearby—everything is about a 20-minute drive from Pibo. We were also provided with complimentary airport pickup, which was a thoughtful touch. The rooms are clean, spacious, and exactly as shown in the pictures. The service is commendable. While only breakfast is offered on-site, Swiggy and Zomato deliver to the homestay, making dining convenient. Mr. Aneesh can assist with arranging accommodations on other islands, ferry bookings, water activities at discounted rates, and day excursions. Unfortunately, we had already pre-booked these activities, so we couldn’t avail of his services, but it’s a great option for future stays. A special mention to Mr. John (the caretaker) and his team for their excellent hospitality. Additionally, Mr. Campbell (the cab driver) deserves recognition for his cheerful and adventurous driving on the roads of Port Blair. These boys were always ready to assist with anything we needed. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Pibo Homestay and are looking forward to returning in the future!

Exceptional customer service. The owner or host is very responsive and excellent as a person. His homestay is really a homestay and makes a person feel at home 🏠. I am fully satisfied and will stay again in future at this homestay
