"The perfect guest house a level above the rest."

A clean fresh and friendly guest house within walking distance from most of the restaurants cafe’s and bars. The family/staff were the best we’ve found on our short break away. Parking was not a problem and next to the guest house. Breakfast was amazing and again the best we’ve had anywhere. Well done to you all for your continued success. Highly recommended.

Everything, what a gem very clean the staff (Bruna) was amazing,lovely night sleep and the BREAKFAST was the best I’ve ever had in a guest house, I will certainly be going back, I could go on and on, go and see for yourself

It was a beautiful comfortable, clean. home. The host had parking and the breakfast was exceptional.

We felt a little bit uncomfortable intruding on the personal life of the family living there. The room had some scented items in the bathroom and I’m extremely sensitive to smells, but they were happy to remove it !!

Maria's Guesthouse is a family-run, truly unique accommodation. Maria, Paulo and their staff put their hearts and souls into providing an exceptional experience for their guests. The house and the smallest details of the rooms have been created with taste and care. There is a lovely courtyard where you can relax, enjoy the evening and chat. Breakfast was plentiful, very tasty and far exceeded expectations.

I stayed a wide range of type of accommodations around the world, and I really cannot say anything that they could do better.
