Misty View Inn

The host is extremely friendly and the breakfast the best possible- truly amazing and worth coming there just for it. Our daughter loved the tiny additional room.

Location isn’t ideal, but it’s just a short drive to town by tuk tuk. Internet didn’t work all the time, but was mostly ok.

The host was really good. He made us comfortable and provided with clean towels and bedding. The breakfast was really good and sumptuous.

This is our second stay at Misty View Inn albeit the first time was 6 years ago! We were remembered and warmly welcomed like family - and this filled our hearts with joy. The guesthouse is situated 1.5kms from Ella township with views of the hills beyond. It's situated in a quiet area, away from the busy-ness of Ella. The breakfasts are wonderful - delicious with seasonal fruit (from Mahinda or his family's garden), coconut pancakes and other delights. The best thing has to be Mahinda and his lovely family - such genuine warmth, kindness and generosity. We were sad to leave after a fabulous 3 days stay and hope we can return in the future.

Attraction and appearance should be improve

It was a welcoming place. The host is nice and friendly. The room and the washroom were very clean. Host gave us very nice breakfast. She also arranged us good dinner at some extra cost.

The entrance is a bit narrow. I had some trouble getting the car up. But after host cleared the path and it became easier. You don't get much of a view of the mountain from the place. But a little walk like 100 m from the place gives you an amazing view of beautiful mountains around.

The view from the room was amazing. The hosts were very helpful..
