Maple home stay and cottage

Camere curate ,apă fierbinte la dus,ușor de găsit cu acces bună,dacă aveți șofer,la 5 minute de centrul orașului.

Mic dejun slab,cafea proasta,mâncarea servită era rece.Gazda total dezinteresată de turiști,comunicare slabă.Nu răspund la solicitările turiștilor si nu te poți baza pe ei.

Also muss wirklich sagen alles perfekt so nette Menschen denen das Home Stay gehört! Das Frühstück ist einmalig auf einer tollen Terrasse ☺️ Das Zimmer tolles Bett Man schläft richtig gut drin ! Alles sehr sehr sauber ! Und der Ausblick ist einfach wow😍

Sehr leckeres Frühstück, netter persönlicher Kontakt, gemütliches Bett mit Moskitonetz, toller Blick vom Balkon ins Land und auf Ella hinunter.

Traumhafte Lage. Tolles Frühstück und saubere Zimmer. Sehr, sehr schön!

Host were very nice and accommodating. Comfy rooms with fantastic views. Breakfast had good variety.

Toast and pancakes needed to be warmer.

Hele fijne accommodatie op een prachtige locatie met een mooi uitzicht! Het ontbijt was echt fantastisch; het beste en meest royale ontbijt wat we in 3 weken Sri Lanka hebben gehad! De eigenaren zijn ontzettend aardig en vriendelijk. Onze taxi kwam niet opdagen, de eigenaar bood meteen aan om ons zelf naar Arugam Bay te brengen; 10 minuten later zaten we al in zijn auto. Dat hebben we erg gewaardeerd!

Excellent location- easy to get to yet far enough from the bustle of the town. Amazing views of mountains, Ella Rock, trains & the valley. Superb breakfast. Thushara is a gentle & kind host.

Road to the property passes by a waste processing station. Hence, the ride to the home stay can be malodorous, at times. Rather pricey in comparison to other places.

The Sri Lankan breakfast on offer was exceptional. Generous portions and very tasty. The hostess was very kind and friendly. Made us a lovely pot of tea to welcome us on arrival.

There's nothing I didn't like, but I could suggest a couple of improvements. Perhaps provide mosquito nets and insect repellent spray, as there were mosquitos about. Since payment has to be made in cash in Sri Lankan Rupees, it would have been helpful to know the EXACT AMOUNT payable in advance for budgeting and logistical reasons. And then I could have withdrawn the money needed in advance and paid it on arrival, without having to worry about not knowing how much I needed and finding my way to an ATM to withdraw more money in case I had run out of cash by the end of my stay.

The view from the balcony was breathtaking. Unfortunately we had a lot of fog and rain so we couldn’t enjoy the view to the fullest. The room was big enough and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. A big plus was the laundry service right next to the home stay.
