The Barn, Bellingham

Very friendly and helpful hosts. I was travelling by bicycle, and Graham secured my bike in the garage overnight, and made me a very welcome cup of tea with some gingerbread on arrival. A wonderful breakfast in the morning, with homemade jam and marmalade. A very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

So comfortable. Use of a conservatory as a sitting room in addition to the bedroom. Very attentive, polite, considerate hosts. Excellent shower. Delicious breakfast including wonderful homemade marmalade and blackcurrant jam. No concern about my muddy boots and thoughtfully provided somewhere to dry wet things too.

Good location on the outskirts of the village but within easy walking distance. Short drive to Hadrian’s Wall to the South and Kielder Water. All our needs were catered for. Graham and Debbie are excellent hosts and did everything to make our stay enjoyable, including tea and cake on arrival and also when we returned from our day out. Excellent cooked breakfast with Debbie’s homemade jam and marmalade to follow.

The bathroom sink is rather small. Personal preference would have been for a removable shower head rather than the overhead rainfall shower.

Graham was very welcoming. We had everything we needed. We especially like the conservatory which was a great space to relax. Excellent breakfast and Tea/Coffee facilities

Located in a beautiful part of the country. Lovely welcome with a cup of tea and delicious home made cake. Clean, comfortable accomodation with secure garage parking for our motorbike. Short walk into the village for restaurants and pubs.
