The Barn, Bellingham

Lovely, friendly and comfortable B&B. I was cycling the Sandstone way and The Barn was only a few metres off the route - also true for the Pennine Way. Perfect for my needs.

No criticism of anything at all!

The attention to detail and warm welcome. Little things like a welcoming pot of tea, a healthy and delicious breakfast including freshly curled butter and home-made marmalade. Quite a refreshing change from the pre-packed stuff you usually get.

The hosts were lovely. Really friendly and helpful. They made an amazing breakfast.

This property is set in the countryside just outside the lovely village of Bellingham. We had the use of a conservatory which was much appreciated when one person goes to bed very early. Food was excellent: lovely porridge and home made jam and marmalade. Hosts very friendly.

Had trouble finding it. Post codes are not very helpful in sparsely populated places as they cover quite a large area. Access to property difficult: very narrow and can only be approached from one direction, but not much owners can do about it.

Beautiful place with excellent facilities. Warm comfortable and cosy. The hosts were lovely and really looked after us. We were also able to put our bikes in the garage which was a bonus and breakfast was excellent.
