Loved our stay here! Indi has thought of everything, so impressed with the setup of the room, bathroom and outdoor area. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in Sri Lanka with a variety of food in abundance. Love the jacuzzi overlooking monkeys in the trees outside. Great location, walking distance to 9 arch bridge and restaurants. Indi arranged a guide to collect us for a sunrise hike up Ella Rock and a tuk tuk to go to dinner. Thank you so much Indi and family, we loved our stay.

Not a bad thing, just a note to be cautious in the bathroom as I had a painful fall from the Jacuzzi stairs into the shower.

We stayed here for 4 days and it completely exceeded all our expectations – it truly felt like a little paradise. The room was absolutely amazing, beautifully designed and so comfortable. We felt at home from the very first moment. Everything was peaceful and quiet, which made it even more special. The jacuzzi was a real highlight – perfect to relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings. What made this place truly unforgettable is the incredibly warm and kind family. Their hospitality is something very special, and you can feel it in every detail. From the terrace and even from the jacuzzi, you can watch so many animals in the trees just in front – monkeys, squirrels and much more. It’s such a unique experience and something you really have to see for yourself.

Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like.

Everything was wonderful. The room and facilities, location, breakfast were all excellent and the family are lovely. It's very peaceful, despite being centrally located. Very easy to walk to Ellla town and back. We would love to come back asap.

Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll und modern gestaltet. Alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Der dazugehörige, große Balkon-/ Terassenbereich ist komplett überdacht und somit auch bei Regen ohne Einschränkungen nutzbar. Das Frühstück war lecker und reichhaltig und wurde draußen auf der Terasse serviert. Indika (der Host) bietet mit seinem TukTuk auch Touren zu Sehenswürdigkeiten an und organisiert zudem bei Bedarf weitere Transfers (Taxi etc.). Insgesamt hatten wir eine sehr schöne Zeit in Ella.

Klasse Frühstück und ein Host, dem wir absolutes Vertrauen schenken konnten. Er hat uns regelmäßig (auch später in unserer Rundreise) extrem kurzfristig einen günstigen Transport vermitteln können! Super!

Das Zimmer war super, leider war es aber auch etwas klamm. Das könnte allerdings auch an der ständigen hohen Luftfeuschtigeit liegen. Evtl kann hier die Klimaanlage besser entfeuchten?

The room, facilities, staff and location were all excellent. The attention to detail in the room and facilities was beyond excellent. The breakfast was fantastic and we had a great stay.

Tucked away just off the main road, this ‘room is far more than a room…it has a wonderful veranda and a jacuzzi in the bedroom. Beautifully clean and spacious.

We didn’t have long enough to enjoy the facilities as we were only there for one brief night.

Das Frühstück war super lecker und reichhaltig. Die Lage des Homestays ist auch super. Zu Fuss ist man in 5 Minuten in Mitten von Ella und in der Nähe aller Restaurants, etc. Auch der Little Adam‘s Peak und die Nine Arches Bridge sind gut zu Fuss erreichbar von der Unterkunft aus. Ich würde sofort wieder dort übernachten. Auch die Ausstattung des Zimmers war super. Alles was man braucht, war vorhanden.

Im Zimmer war es leider sehr feucht, so dass auch die Bettwäsche und alle unsere Sachen mit der Zeit leicht feucht waren. Das lag wohl daran, dass es ziemlich regnerisch war, aber auch an dem Whirlpool und der schlechten Belüftung im Zimmer.
