The Symbol of Ella

Indy was such a lovely guy. Personal contact was great. Large breakfast, comfy beds and excellent shower. Right in nature, we even had monkeys passing by on our terrace. Pillows were great (underrated!) aswell! Homestay as you want it to be!

Five star accommodation: comfortable, clean, quiet and tastefully decorated with a breathtaking balcony view of Ella. Our wonderful host Indika and his family could not do enough for us, and the breakfast was a delicious treat.

We enjoyed our stay at the Symbol of Ella. Is a beautiful room, very clean and comfortable. This is the only guest room at the property at present, so it feels more like an airbnb or guesthouse. The hosts take extremely good care, they cooked for us the most amazing food we ate in Sri Lanka and Indika took care of all our transportation and questions with an open and warm heart. This is a good place to stay that supports a nice local family. Thank you Indika for all your support and kindness

Do yourself a favor and stay here while in Ella! The room is new, gorgeous, and impeccably clean! You can't beat the location, only a 5 min walk to town through a short cut. Indika and his family are the sweetest hosts and take care of any request you may have. They also can help arrange tours and transportation. Breakfast was delectable and huge. All in all, our best stay in Sri Lanka!
