The Mystical Orchard

The bed was amazing.

It was clean and well maintained property, in a good location which is close to Lidl, food stores and access to public transport. Good view, breakfast was provided, comfortable reclining chairs, the host was very kind and helpful. Water bed was very comfortable.

There were no curtains and the blinds were not adequate to keep the lights out. The bath could also do with a shower.

Loved it! Sleeping on a water bed is a treat if you have trouble with your back or joints.. I want one now! We had our own room, bathroom and lounge. Paul was lovely. Great place to stay and will definitely go back here if we’re in Holywell again.

The only thing to be aware of is if you’re a really light sleeper, the blinds don’t totally block out the light in the morning and you can hear some cars - bring earplugs/eye masks (which I usually do anyway)!

The proprietor was friendly and welcoming

I had to prepare my own breakfast which was somewhat unexpected-not something I'd come across before. There was no shower - just a bath.

It had a great view and felt like you were in your own property

Breakfast was self service and the waterbed was very unusual

Paul very kindly offered us a lift from Greenfield Dock up the hill to his house. Very useful as we walked the coastal path from Chester and his house is up hill. House also located within five min of two supermarkets and local pub/food. DIY breakfast so could leave as early as we liked. Paul told us of a Lovely quick walk back down the valley to Greenfield Dock

Would have been nice to have a shower attachment?

Property was spacious and comfortable Hosts were really good and helpful.
