Westerley Country B & B with exclusive Guest lounge

Absolutely beautiful property in a beautiful setting. Everything was outstanding and Shelley was wonderful and catered for our every need.

Everything! The wonderful hosts, Shelley and Pete were so welcoming and their attention to detail is exceptional. This is home from home in real quality accommodation with a wonderful lounge and garden to use.

The breakfast was wonderful and I miss it already! Everything about our stay reflected the generosity of our hosts. We can't recommend it highly enough.

The property is beautiful and we loved the setting, the view is incredible and the gardens created by Shelley & Pete are truly stunning. A very comfortable lounge shared by the 3 guest bedrooms (each with their own tea and coffee facilities) with excellent WiFi and all the TV channels and apps at the press of a button. The bathroom is vast with an excellent big shower and bathtub and an additional nice touch being everything you might need from shampoo to conditioner to moisturizer was supplied. Shelley and Pete are super friendly and make for truly warm and excellent hosts and their two dogs were lovely too, I would love to return again one day.

I had not realised that the hosts lived above the property, this was not an issue in the main as the house is sectioned off though it did result in an early wake up on the first morning. We would have liked the option of having some protein (boiled eggs) available at breakfast (even to pay extra for it, though a delicious light continental breakfast is offered consisting of fresh fruit, cereals, pastries and toast in abundance.

Myself and my brother have just stayed in this beautiful place I couldn't recommend this bed and breakfast more, in a fantastic place with fantastic views and fantastic hosts we were made to feel welcome from word go the rooms where perfect, comfortable beds, lovely lounge room home from home springs to mind thank you shelley and Peter for having us see you next year

Absolutely nothing

Perfect hosting Shelley and Pete are wonderful. Breakfast outstanding. Views to die for! Spotlessly clean and comfortable accommodation. Our two Labradors were also treated like royalty :-) Wouldn't hesitate to return as the location was perfect to explore Dartmoor and the surrounding area.

we loved the whole experience at the westerly, we took our 2 grandchildren and they were absolutely delighted there were animals swings and views to die for, my grandson doesn't like dogs but Elsie the brown labrador changed all that with the help of Pete and shelley who had so much time for them both he was throwing the ball and loved playing with Elsie. so thank you both fir a wonderful welcome and patience. of saints. the b&b is so comfy and clean , lovely log fire when we came back from a great day out in torquay, xmas tree in the corner so inviting and relaxing, and beds fit for a king. we loved every moment and the beautiful spread in the morning done by shelley, amazing thank you. x

Westerley was fantastic in every way, great hosts,clean accomodation, wonderful breakfast, dog friendly in every way and relaxing area to holiday in. Shelley and Peter really are superb hosts in every way and treated us so well. They couldn’t do enough for us during our stay . 😊
