We were made to feel very welcome and we had a great nights sleep in comfortable beds with a fantastic breakfast to set us up for the day. Will definitely go back there again.

The warm hospitality and friendliness of the hosts. Food was exceptional, had a couple of the best dinners here of anywhere else in Tomintoul.

"Beautiful place, nice people and a lovely stay"

Liz is the owner of Gordon House and she is the sunlight of this place! We will recommend this place to anyone and everyone. You will not regret it. Liz can definitely be a chatter box but we loved it! She just put is in a comfortable spot the minute we stepped inside her house. Her smile is infectious and she the owner of a good heart so you will oversee any tiny bits, if any. Property is a nice little place to crash and rest. Liz was happy to give us guidance when we needed, always on her toes to help and especially to cook for us homely menu.

Cannot really think of anything much….probably the hot and cold water mixer in the washbasin in the washroom.

"This was just what we were hoping for on our Highlands road trip!"

Les and John greeted us when we walked in, and we instantly felt at home. We sat at the old pub bar in the front room for a bit with a sip of whiskey, chatting with the hosts and other guests before being shown upstairs to our rooms. The B and B offers dinner for an additional (very reasonable) charge, and it was absolutely delicious with a starter, main, cheese course, and dessert, along with beverages. Les took us around the corner to her local after dinner and was up early with a hearty breakfast before sending us all on our way. Such a cute little rural town. The bed and breakfast is a renovation in process, but the rooms and bathrooms were super comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed hearing the history and coming plans for the place. We'll be following on Instagram to keep up with Gordon House!

The owner put lots of effort to make you home as soon as you stepped inside, the accommodation was absolutely brilliant. The building used to be a pub and the owners kept the original setting and they have created a really outstanding b&b .
