The Boathouse

well, not the carlton. But i had meeting nearby so location was great.

not possible to have dinner. I picked it because it was advertised with food available. I knew it would be a late arrival, thats why i wanted to have dinner there. They guided me to an alternative and the food there was good.

The perfect location and very comfortable

Would have preferred a smaller breakfast with better quality sausage etc - and without baked beans and tinned tomatoes. Location was convenient for us.

Coathangers would have been nice.

Tracey was brilliant host

The breakfasts were the best part. Could not have cooked better myself. Tracey our host was very friendly and could not have been more helpful.

The TV signal was not the best and no BBC channels but that may have been the area. Maybe could have used more pillows and a bit plumpier. Shower was good but maybe needs refreshing

Over all the breakfast was very nice but in our opinion we would have liked another rasher of bacon and another sausage and less beans! We had a lovely warm welcome from our host and she made a big fuss of our little dog!

Didn't like the shower much, as I have bad hips and find it hard to get about sometimes I could have done with a handrail in the shower, plus a shower mat to stop me slipping. And no shelf or anything to put shampoo/shower gel on!

Difficult to find as outside wasn’t lit up . We expected the pub to be open for a drink but it wasn’t . The room we had was to the front of the property and it was very hot and also very noisy . Bedding and towels were clean but bed was really uncomfortable you could feel the springs . Bathroom needing cleaning and updating

Friendly, responsive staff. Room was spacious and warm.

The bed wasn’t particularly comfortable. Single glazed window = Traffic noise from main road nearby.

breakfast was lovely.

Everything was as I expected and more.
