Grantham House

We liked the spacious Victorian room. The mattress was comfy A lovely garden to sit in

Breakfast. We eat musili and there was fresh fruit. But apart from Peanut Butter little protein I know cooking eggs is a phaff but some boiled eggs are easy and can be left. Some ham or cheese perhaps.

The rooms (and beds!) are spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The host is charming and helpful, whilst also very sensitive to letting his guests have their own space and independence. Breakfast is help yourself from a very well stocked supply (that was continually restocked!) We loved having breakfast in the garden in the morning and tea and biscuits there at night. We felt very at home, and well looked after. There is free on-street parking and it's a short walk both to the beach and Ryde town centre. I would not hesitate to return and would highly recommend.

Literally the only thing that occurs to me is that the lid to the french press for the coffee was missing :)

Excellent host, great location, relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast is more than adequate, albeit not cooked. Our bed was clean, large, and comfy, slept great. Garden beautiful, we were able to sit and eat outside.

Shared bathroom, although caused no issues, very large, hot water, good shower, and additional separate toilet.

great location and street parking....close to the beach, train station, pub and restaurants. Chris and his cats are a great host Nice big comfortable room Breakfast is help yourself when you want it...plenty of healthy options

phone signal/internet a bit dodgy...but like that on whole island

Chris was very helpful gave us left to the ferry. The dinning room was open all day so we could help ourselves to tea , biscuits and fruit.

Chris the owner made us feel very welcome, we was the only guests so had the facilities to ourselves, bedroom was very spacious and clean, newly decorated, breakfast was self serve and a great choice of food on offer, the hotel was a short walk to the beach and town, local pub just round the corner, plenty of lovely restaurants within walking distance g distance, we will be returning.

VERY GOOD BREAKFAST AND HOST WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.
