Bed and Breakfast Evelina

Simple but very central rooms to explore Lucca and enjoy the evening restaurants and bars. Super clean and with cute details, they offer rooms with two or three shared bathrooms, a kitchen, common dining room and a little terrace with a nice view. The night I stayed here was very cold outside, but they left the heat on and was super cozy inside! Good price for a central place in Lucca.

The 5pm check in is very inconvenient, specially if you don´t want to just leave your bag on the living room floor - it is the most late check-in I have ever seem. It could be 2-3 hours earlier and would be perfect. Another improvement that would make a big difference would be to have more attention on the supplies they say are offered for the guests - there was a coffee machine but no coffee pods, very few tea bags, all the coffee area set up looked uncared - which was the opposite of the rooms and bathrooms, that where all very nice and cared for. This details on the coffee area need just a little care to be decent and make a big difference.

Super schön zentral in der Altstadt gelegen und auch vom Bahnhof nicht zu weit entfernt (ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuss). Mit insgesamt 3 Badezimmern war immer ein Bad frei. Schöner gemeinsamer Balkon mit Blick auf die Dächer. Sehr unkomplizierter Check-in.

La struttura è in posizione centrale, il locale per la colazione è accogliente e la signora Samantha, che gestisce la struttura è gentile e disponibile!

La struttura è in posizione centrale, il che comporta l'esposizione a rumori esterni fino a tarda ora. Le camere sono al 3° piano senza ascensore. L'assenza di un bagno privato per ogni stanza è penalizzante e tra l'altro in uno, il piatto doccia è rotto e l'altro risulta privo di bidet e con la rubinetteria che necessita di manutenzione a causa di incrostazioni da calcare ed instabilità. La porta della camera ha la serratura molto rumorosa che arreca fastidio se azionata nelle ore notturne. Non vi è la possibilità di avvicinarsi con la vettura per lo scarico dei bagagli, sia perché la location è all'interno della ZTL e perché la larghezza del vicolo, non lo consente! Il parcheggio pubblico gratuito, più vicino è situato a circa 10 minuti di percorrenza a piedi (con le valigie, non è il massimo del piacere!). Le persiane della finestra risultano rotte e da sistemare e nella mia camera la presa di corrente al lato del letto era a penzoloni dal muro e quindi pericolosa. Insonorizzazione serramenti, quasi assente. La struttura richiederebbe svariati interventi di manutenzione, almeno conservativa!
