The Reynolds House has an abundance of character - very tastefully and appropriately decorated. Jeffrey was a great host. Barre is a perfect location from which to explore Northern & Central Vermont's sights and activities.

Our room faced Main St. and the traffic noise at night was more than we expected. Recommend reserving a room that's away from Main St.

"convenient and close to town but cannot recommend"

Underwhelming. Beautiful house but on a busy road with not much soundproofing. No Kleenex nor shampoo in the room. For B&B , the biggest disappointment was breakfast, Beautiful table with China and silverware. Other than coffee/ tea, not one kind of juice, tiny yogurt, dry eggs with no seasoning/condiments nor choices of oatmeal/ cereal.No fresh fruit. We got messages asking to let it known what we need but did not want to inconvenience the staff as they seemed to be understaffed.
