The Swallows B and B

In a my opinion this B&B was a very high standard and I have found hotels that charge so much more for so little compared to The Swallows. From the very start Ian and Tracy were very accommodating and helpful. Letting us know when the rooms would be ready. All the small details of the rooms and extras were plenty. In the bathroom everything was thought of from hand sanitiser to cleansing pads. In the bedroom lots of biscuits and so many teas and coffees. The cleanliness was top tier and decor was beautiful and to my taste. Tracy cooked a fabulous fried breakfast every morning and the quality was exceptional. There was plenty of cereals and fruits to choose from. The town and beach were a five minute drive. We loved it!

The parking was very tight and we had to put our mirrors in, but Ian came out to guide us and welcome us in.

Thank you to our lovely hosts Ian & Tracy for a fantastic weeks stay, you have thought of everything. The room facilities and snug where amazing and so much thought has gone into making peoples stay a great one. Lots of room for toiletries (including small bottles upon arrival that are replenished once finished) and plenty of mirrors (which are both lacking in many B&B's). A large selection of hot beverages in the room, along with water bottles and fresh milk in a fridge (bonus) and yummy biscuits every day. The breakfast though......OMG the website picture doesn't do the cooked breakfast justice, all beautifully cooked/presented and scrummy. Parking on site too, which is rare for the area so that was an extra tick for us. 10/10 and a B&B we would happily stay in again and again.

Lovely comfortable rooms, an added bonus was a comfortable lounge to sit and chat and relax with our family who travelled with us, very friendly host, fresh fruit every morning, followed by a very nice full English breakfast. Very comfortable dinning room too. Not one thing could we, as a family of 4 adults complain about…..

Kind and friendly hosts. A home from home that was lovely to return to in order to enjoy a relaxing stay.

It was a lovely place to stay- Ian and Tracy are such thoughtful hosts and we had everything we needed + bonus of a small sitting room to ourselves. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had - perfectly cooked full English and lots of lovely fresh fruit to start

Nothing we didn’t like

Use of a private lounge, good service.

Access to the guest parking spaces is rather narrow and can be tricky, even for smaller vehicles.

Room good, breakfast excellent. Quiet location.

Parking whilst off street access difficult.
