Before our arrival, Bernie and Declan kindly arranged an early check-in, which was greatly appreciated as we were attending a wedding at Mount Druid, just a 15-minute drive away. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and exceptionally hospitable. The house is steeped in history and full of old-world charm, with character and personality in every room. Our rooms were beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with a wonderful selection that we thoroughly enjoyed. As our son was a little slow to appear that morning, Bernie and Declan thoughtfully packed up a breakfast for him to take with him, which was a lovely gesture. Bernie and Declan are outstanding hosts who go above and beyond to make their guests feel at home. I would highly recommend Templemacateer B&B to anyone visiting the area and would happily stay there again.

Period home, lovely host, atmosphere

Shower was difficult to control and pressure was low. Breakfast was nice but I expected a wider choice at this price point

Our hosts Declan & Bernie couldn't have been nicer, more welcoming people. They were very pleasant and accommodating. The rooms and the house itself are truly beautiful here. It was a real treat to see how well kept the house was, with many interesting details everywhere you looked. The bedroom and ensuite were both spacious and very comfortable.

The house is quite remote, and the road leading to it is mostly a single-car country lane. There is very poor phone signal in this area, but the WiFi in the house makes up for that. The rooms didn't come with a TV, but otherwise the room had great facilities including good WiFi signal, plenty of towels, bathroom products, and a hair dryer.
